CHYME CHUFFED AT CHAMPIONSHIP CHANCE
Chyme has advanced to the Blood Bowl for the first time in the MAML and is looking big toward the future.
Chyme finished this season's Chaos Cup at a record of 5-1-2. With such a strong start to the season, I asked Chyme how he felt about his team's chances in upcoming competitions this season.
"We's gonna stomp 'em to dust. Knock 'em down an' bash all their 'eads wif big stomps until nuffin iz left."
We asked Chyme if this was overconfidence seeing as competition is fierce this season.
"WAAAGH!", Chyme responded.
We'll see if "waaagh" is enough as these orcs face off against not just the strong teams we saw in the Chaos Cup but also three brand new teams this competition including black orcs, undead, and wood elves!

DOUGTHEMINOTAUR TO RETURN TO BLOOD BOWL IV
DougTheMinotaur won this season's Chaos Cup to earn a chance to defend his title in Blood Bowl IV.
Unverified information obtained by the Gazette suggests that DougTheMinotaur is especially motivated to sweep all three Opens this season due to outrage at some of the competing players.
An audio recording has been circulating around the Old World. On it, someone who seems to be DougTheMinotaur takes umbrage with the fact that Kevin Bacon is playing for another team. He can be heard shouting, "Bacon is a traitor! I'll cook his bacon! Pigs will fly before he leaves the pitch without two broken legs! I'm going to pray to Nuffle every day that Kevin's team plays in sweltering heat. Then he'll be bakin' and will really sizzle!" Moreover, he seems concerned at the return of wood elves, calling them "twigs who need to be snapped in half" insisting that they "can't hide behind their tree daddies forever."
If this recording truly is DougTheMinotaur, then Kevin Bacon's rival dwarf team as well as the new wood elf team should be cautious both on and off the pitch this competition!
HUMANS RETURN FOR FIRST TIME SINCE SEASON 1
Humans return for this season's Spike! Magazine Trophy. It is the first time humans have participated in the league since the inaugural season.
EvaUnit02 coached the Vloopidoops in season 1 to a Spike! Magaizne Trophy championship. This season, EvaUnit02 brings the Television Terrors to the pitch. EvaUnit02 began the season with an undead team, the same as last season. We asked why he switched for this competition.
"Honestly, I'm just hoping we can translate this in to a demo reel for a chance at employment on the new UK Gladiators show. I love that show, and apparently they don't accept undead. Doesn't look good on camera."
We at the Gazette haven't heard of either Gladiators nor a "UK" anywhere in the Old World. A strange desire but we wish EvaUnit02 and the entire team the best of luck!
