The new season of MAML is underway.
SEASON KICKS OFF BASH HEAVY
All but three teams in this season's Chaos Cup can be considered a bashy team.
Registration closed this week with 2 Undead teams, 2 Orc teams, 2 Chaos Renegades teams, 1 Chaos Chosen team, 2 Lizardman teams, and 1 Dwarf team on the bashier side of things. 1 Skaven, 1 Dark Elf, and 1 Underworld team have also registered.
We asked Dead Fred why he's running a Dark Elf team this competition. "Well, I was going to run a Lizard team. But then I thought, wait a minute. Maybe with such a bash-heavy field, I can outrun them with elves. If it doesn't work out, I'll have a pile of dead bodies ready to turn undead for the next competition!" An impressive strategy!
HUMANS DEJECTED AFTER NO-SHOW IN CHAOS CUP
Human fans are dejected after no human teams have signed up for this season's Chaos Cup.
This season sees the return of Undead, Lizardman, Skaven, Orc, Dark Elf, Dwarf, and Underworld teams along with newcomers like the Chaos Renegades teams. However, no coach has fielded a human team.
"It was a tough choice", said EvaUnit02, coach of Dead Kennedys, an undead team. "I weighed the pros and the cons of each race. I ran the numbers and completed the equations. It really just came down to one thing in the end", he said. "I'd prefer to run a team that can win."
A sad day for humans everywhere. Perhaps they'll show up in the Spike! Magazine Trophy!
