DINNERBELL DARLINGS TAKE TOP SPOT IN DIVISION A
The Dinnerbell Darlings, coached by DougTheMinotaur, advance to the Dungeonbowl semi-finals as the second seed.
The Darlings finished regular play with a record of 6-0-1, losing only to Donkey Teeth, coached by Dead Fred.
This is perfectly fine because the Dinnerbell Darlings are not a halfling team. If they win their semi-final match, they may have a chance to defeat the halflings of Mootland Scout Troop 079, coached by Artificialbunny. Let us all pray to Nuffle that the Darlings can eliminate this scourge from our universe.

DOUBLE DIPPERS ELIMINATE DONKEY TEETH IN NAIL-BITING GAME
Sweetbunny14691 and the Double Dippers knocked out Donkey Teeth from the Dungeonbowl this week with a 2-2 draw.
The Double Dippers were able to get on the board on turn 8 with a hard fought first half. They were able to score six removals in the half, including a wardancer and a kill on a treeman.
Donkey Teeth, coached by Dead Fred, had their work cut out for them. As a fragile wood elf team, they would not only have to score quickly but also mount a defense against their necromantic opponents to recover the ball and score within eight turns.
Donkey Teeth would start the second half fielding only eight of their original eleven players. Hingle McCringleberry, veteran wardancer for the team, scored on turn 11 to tie the game, 1-1. Dead Fred was able to keep all eight players on the pitch for the follow-up defensive drive.
On turn 13, a one-die wardancer leap-blitz would knock the ball loose from the ghoul ball carrier, Bubbles. Donkey Teeth would recover, pass to Dan Smith, and score to take the lead, 2-1.
By turn 16, Donkey Teeth would have just five players left on pitch. It was a grueling and expertly-played game by both coaches. Donkey Teeth seemed to have the game in the bag after a failed werewolf blitz by the Double Dippers. However, Sweetbunny was able to affect a three-block chain to push the ball carrier in to scoring position. After two GFIs, Bubbles would score the TD he was denied on turn 13, drawing the game, 2-2.
Donkey Teeth needed to win to advance to the semi-finals. With the draw, Donkey Teeth was eliminated and their run at the Blood Bowl this season has ended. Sweetbunny has earned a spot in the Blood Bowl with their dark elf team, "That's Kinda Catchy?"
This was one of the very best games played all season and perhaps in league history. A performance to be proud of by both coaches!
FRIENDLY NEIGHBOR KAIJU TAKE TOP SPOT IN DIVISION B
The Friendly Neighbor Kaiju, coached by Merek, advance to the Dungeonbowl semi-finals as the top seed.
The Kaiju finished regular play with a record of 6-1-0, drawing only to The Dead Prezidents, coached by EvaUnit02.
This is perfectly fine because the Friendly Neighbor Kaiju are not a halfling team. In their semi-final match, they have a chance to defeat the halflings of Mootland Scout Troop 079, coached by Artificialbunny. Let us all pray to Nuffle that the Kaiju can eliminate this scourge from our universe.
