DINNERBELL DARLINGS WIN THEIR FIRST COMPETITION CHAMPIONSHIP

The Dinnerbell Darlings won their first competition this season which also marks the first win for their coach, DougTheMinotaur.

With a record of 9-0-0, some were unconvinced that the Darlings had the chops to pull off a victory. EvaUnit02, coach of The Dead Prezidents, was worried about the Darlings' chances at a championship.

"9-0-0. Boy, I'd be embarrassed with a record like that. Frankly, it's a miracle the Darlings even made it to the semi-finals with that sort of record. Let's be real for a minute and ask the tough question: why wasn't their record 10-0-0? I really hope Doug takes a long hard look at his team, their performance, and how he might improve for the Dungeonbowl. It's going to be an uphill climb."

The MAML Gazette is looking forward to both the Dinnerbell Darlings performance in the Dungeonbowl and EvaUnit02's improved comprehension of math in the coming weeks.

DELICIOUS SMELLS GIVES RISE TO DUNGEONBOWL SPECULATION

Delicious aromas have been wafting through Old World towns, just weeks before the Dungeonbowl's opening day. Many coaches are speculating that this means new teams are training.

"There can be no doubt.", said War_horseman, coach of the Damaged Dragons. "Those are the smells of a master chef. A halfling master chef."

Dead Fred, coach of Donkey Teeth, posited: "These smells are coming from a number of towns. I don't think just one halfling team is training. I think it's multiple teams."

"Nonsense.", says Merek, coach of the Friendly Neighbor Kaiju. "No coach would be foolish enough to field a halfling team at this point in the season. Certainly not more than one coach!"

The rumor mill is abuzz. Will we see coaches flings 'flings in this competition? We'll find out in a couple of weeks!
