DWARFS, ELVES, RATKIN, AND KNIGHTS FACE OFF IN MID-SEASON PLAY OFFS
DINNERBELL DARLINGS DRINK THEIR WAY TO VICTORY
The Dinnerbell Darlings continue their exceptional season run by making the cut in the Spike! Magazine Trophy.
DougTheMinotaur, coach of the Dinnerbell Darlings, reaffirmed their strategy involves copious amounts of Dwarf Ale. "What you see is what you get.", said DougTheMinotaur. "When we score, you see us drink-up in the end zone. That's not for show. That's training."
We asked DougTheMinotaur how this translates in to such run-away success. "You get out what you put in.", he replied. When we asked for further explanation, he replied, "Time flies when it's a dime a dozen."
We're not quite sure what these idioms mean in terms of Blood Bowl strategy, or even if they are coherent. While we might suspect DougTheMinotaur has been hitting the Dwarf Ale along with his players, his results are a clear indictation that whatever the team is doing, it's working. We wish both the Dinnerbell Darlings and their opponents, Skitter Twitch Die-die, luck in their upcoming semi-final match!

Chthonic passes to Gnarly to score a TD in week 7 of the Spike! Magazine Trophy.
KNIGHTS OF (K)NUFFLE PIVOT STRATEGY AS SEMI-FINALS APPROACH
The Knights of (k)Nuffle are pivoting their strategy to a more arbor-based approach, sources says.
Earlier in the season, the Knights sold their rat extermination business to The Dead Prezidents. It can now be confirmed that proceeds from that sale were used to purchase a tree trimming service.
It seems the Knights of (k)Nuffle anticipated this semi-final match-up against Donkey Teeth, a wood elf team. When asked for comment, all Clypheous (coach of the Knights of (k)Nuffle) would say were chainsaw whirring sounds.
A bold strategy like this might just indeed pay off. We'll see how the semi-finals unfold!
